FundoLinker, a rising student support platform, was recently invited by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, Zimbabwe, Innovation Africa and African Brains to participate at Innovation Africa 28-30 November 2018, Harare, Zimbabwe summit as one of the summit's special partners if it gets the required participation fees. This summit is bringing in Governments from across Africa and large international organizations that include Microsoft, Cambridge, HP, Intel, Epson, Acer, Canon, Lenovo and MasterCard presenting massive business opportunities to FundoLinker if funds permit. FundoLinker's inclusion among other reputed organizations as Innovation Africa's partners on the Innovation Africa's website has further spruced up its reputation such that potential investors particularly from USA and UK started knocking on FundoLinker's doors for seed funding. Given its positive relationship with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, FundoLinker is hoping to get the much needed permission letter from the Ministry soon after the summit paving way for serious engagement with primary and secondary schools in Zimbabwe. FundoLinker is a student support platform through which primary and secondary schools, tertiary institutions, companies, industry veterans and crowd donors are able to work together to provide career guidance, financial help, information and jobs to students. FundoLinker is a registered Zimbabwean company which was founded in January 2016.
The self funded FundoLinker is increasingly gaining recognition and popularity in the world. The World News and Moguldom, USA included FundoLinker among 10 best African recruitment/skills tech startups. FundoLinker was among 15 best SADC tech startups for the Startup Europe Comes to Africa, Capetown Injini EdTech accelerator. SeedStars World, Switzerland rated FundoLinker as one of the 10 most promising startups in Zimbabwe. Edoofa, India is eager to join FundoLinker together with its affiliated universities.
