A leading manufacturer is inviting suitably qualified persons for a position of Help Desk Administrator based in Bulawayo

About The Job

Reporting to the Information Technology Manager, the applicant will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing the Bulawayo division’s IT infrastructure (servers, network, desktops, PABX, antivirus, windows updates and related equipment)
  • Providing application and systems support for the IT systems used in Bulawayo, and escalates any significant problems to the Systems Analyst
  • Implementing and testing the disaster recovery solution for Bulawayo users as documented in the approved IT policy and procedures
  •  Implementing IT policy in the Bulawayo Division ensuring relevant documentation is available to support the policy are available
  • Ensuring that IT spares and consumables are made available to the relevant users as and when required.
  • Operationally responsible for the IT function in Bulawayo and relays any significant issues to the IT Manager

About The Person Required

The Person

  • must have at least 2 years’ experience providing applications support to users
  • Must possess a Degree or HND in Computer Science or relevant Vendor Certification
  • must have Knowledge of Cisco Network infrastructure; Microsoft Azure Platform; Microsoft Nav Dynamics ERP, SCADA systems.
  • must demonstrate solid organisational skills
  • must be a self-starter
